Inside
Every day we have great fun painting, sticking, drawing, singing and playing. In addition we plan some messy activities, to allow the children to freely express themselves in water, sand or even baked beans! We teach the children how to use scissors, magnifying glasses and sometimes torches. We celebrate many of the festivities during the year including Christmas, Halloween, Mother’s Day and activities that reflect the local community and wider world.
We also have a large gym on the lower ground floor. This is used as an alternative to outside play when the weather isn’t so good and for music and movement sessions with the older children.
Outside
All our
children enjoy a great deal of exercise! We encourage the children to
play outside every day in our secure outdoor play area with hard and
soft play surfaces. We have bats, balls, hoops, trikes and scooters and
even a great big parachute that encourages team play.
