Food Finders – Fosters Traditional Foods

Wednesday 30th July the Holiday Club had an outing to Food Finders, a local business that is the UK’s leading supplier and distributor of speciality ambient food to the premium independent retail market including: garden centres, farm shops, department stores and speciality food retailers.  They have over 1,200 brands which include Haribo Sweets, Burts Chips and Fosters Preserves.

The trip was part of the 7 week cookery course being run at Castle Lane Day Nursery by Sainsburys community Food and Health Advisor Mary Scott Morgan and her team.   The course is all about getting kids to have fun and confidence with cooking,  with hands on sessions , fun with fruit and vegetables, home baking  with the next planned outing is a tour around Sainsbury’ Supermarket.
